The Philips Hue Flux strip light is now available in Europe. Arriving a few weeks earlier than expected, these smart lights are part of a new range which will replace older products like the Hue Solo Lightstrip.
Philips Hue’s Flux strip light is described as delivering a “fine line” of wall washing light. Suitable for indoor use, it can be purchased in five different lengths: 3m, 4m, 5m, 6m and 10m. However, these can be connected or cut to cover a specific area. For example, it could be used behind a TV cabinet, around the headboard of a bed or along a bookcase. Chromasync technology is said to provide precise color blending along the strip, with users able to choose from a range of colors and color temperatures.
Users of the dimmable Flux strip light can remotely control the device through the Philips Hue app. Here, you can choose from a range of preset lighting scenes or create custom effects. Plus, there is support for voice commands. The maximum brightness of the shortest 3m length is 1,200 lumens, while the longest 10m variant offers up to 2,000 lumens. Each product should run for around 25,000 hours, and measures 14.5 mm (~0.6 inches) wide and 6 mm (~0.2 inches) tall.
You can now buy the 3m, 4m, 5m and 10m lengths of the Philips Hue Flux light strip in countries like the Netherlands, Spain and France. Prices start from €69.99 for the shortest length; the complete price list can be found below. It is unclear when the 6m variant will be released in this region. These smart lighting products are expected to be released in the UK in November and in North America in March 2026.
