Casio has launched the four Pac-Man collaboration watches in the UK. These models, which mark the 45th anniversary of the arcade game, were unveiled last year and released in the US in January. There are four new watches: the Vintage ABL-100WEPC-1B and A168WEPC-7A, the Standard F-91WPC-1A and the CA-53WPC-1B Calculator watch.
At the bottom of the range is the F-91WPC-1A, a black resin model with multicolored Pac-Man imagery. Basic features include 12 and 24-hour time formats, a 1/100-second stopwatch and a daily alarm. Casio suggests that it will run for up to seven years, and an LED backlight helps you to read the display in low lighting. The mid-range A168WEPC-7A has a similar shape and colorful design, with a silver stainless steel casing and band. It offers the same tools as the F-91WPC-1A and an identical seven-year battery life estimate.
The CA-53WPC-1B, also sitting in the middle of the range, has a yellow bezel mimicking an arcade cabinet with a black resin strap. Below the digital display are 16 buttons, which can be used alongside the eight-digit calculator function. It is also equipped with a stopwatch, an alarm and an LED backlight, but the battery life estimate is lower than the first two models at five years.
The most expensive model from the release is the ABL-100WEPC-1B, a Bluetooth watch with a stainless steel finish. Features include a step counter, five alarms, a countdown timer, and support for dual time. Additional tools are available via the Casio Watches smartphone app, and there is also a battery level indicator; the company suggests that the wearable will run for around two years.
You can now buy the Casio F-91WPC-1AER in the UK for £54.90. The A168WEPC-7AER and CA-53WPC-1BER are priced at £74.90, while the ABL-100WEPC-1BER costs £124.90. As a reminder, these models start from $59.95 in the US. The company has yet to officially announce any plans to bring these products to other European countries, though third-party retailer David et Philly has already been accepting pre-orders in France, and indicates that delivery here will begin on February 15th.
