A new Casio watch appears to be on the way: the WS-1800. This model has styling similar to the brand’s Pro Trek watches, though with a lower price tag thanks to a simpler feature set.
Three versions of the WS-1800 have been spotted at French retailer David et Philly: the Casio WS-1800-1AV (black), the Casio WS-1800-2AV (blue) and the Casio WS-1800-3AV (green). Each has a resin casing, measuring 48.2 x 45.0 x 13.8 mm (~1.9 x 1.8 x 0.5 inches), with an accompanying resin bracelet in the same color. These watches are listed with a 10-year battery life estimate and are said to be water resistant to 100 m.
The Casio WS-1800 has an unusual face, with two second scales in the upper left section. These appear to be linked to the 1/100th second stopwatch function. They could also be used with the countdown timer feature, with nine customizable countdown options listed. On top of this, the watch seems to offer support for world time and a daily alarm. The time is shown in a 12 or 24 hour format on the larger digital display on the lower portion of the watch face. Here, you can also see the day of the week and the date, and an LED backlight should make it easier to read in low lighting.
According to David et Philly, the new Casio WS-1800 watch series could launch in Europe in January 2026, with an RRP of €39.90. This makes them relatively affordable; for context, some Pro Trek models like the PRW-3500T-7CR retail for $500 (curr. $369.70 at Amazon). However, Casio has yet to officially acknowledge this new model. Whether or when it could be released in other countries like the US or Japan remains to be seen.
