Casio has confirmed that the CRW-001G-9 digital ring watch will be released in the UK. The original silver version, the CRW-001-1, launched in various countries worldwide at the end of 2024. Since then, there have been many rumors about the gold variant, which is already available to pre-order in Japan.
The Casio CRW-001G-9 ring watch is now listed at the brand’s online store in the UK. It is listed with a £119 RRP; this makes it more expensive than the older CRW-001-1, which was priced at £105 in this market. The product is marked as “Available soon”, with prospective customers encouraged to sign up to receive a launch notification via email. It could be that this ring watch is released in the UK on October 17th, in line with the Japanese launch date. It is also worth noting that purchases will be limited to one per Casio ID member and excluded from voucher codes.
Casio’s CRW-001G-9 is a miniature digital watch with a seven-segment LCD showing the time in 12 or 24 hour formats. Users can quickly switch between two selected time zones, and other tools include a 1/100th second stopwatch and daily or hourly time signals. Plus, there is an LED backlight to help you to read the screen in low lighting. These features can be controlled using the ring’s three buttons. The ring watch is water resistant, and its SR621SW battery should provide power for around two years.
The CRW-001G-9 has a gold ion-plated casing, measuring 25.2 x 19.5 x 6.2 mm (~1.0 x 0.8 x 0.2 inches). It comes in size 22, though it is adjustable for sizes 19 and 16 thanks to spacers. Whether or when this new gold Casio ring watch could be released in other countries like the US is unclear.
