It is already well established that Oppo will be the first company to leverage MediaTek's Dimensity 9400+ chipset. For reference, the company is scheduled to unveil the chipset inside the Find X8s and Find X8s Plus a day shy of MediaTek's next Dimensity Developer Conference (MDDC).
Not to be outdone, Realme has now confirmed that it will be releasing its first Dimensity 9400+ powered smartphone later this month too. Although a precise launch date has not been disclosed yet, Realme has revealed that it will be using MediaTek's next flagship chipset inside the Realme GT7. Company executive Xu Qi Chase has underlined that the Realme GT7 will be a gaming smartphone first and foremost, much like the company advertises the Realme GT6 (curr. $496.99 on Amazon).
To that end, the GT7 will utilise a battery capacity that exceeds 7,000 mAh. While this capacity will outstrip the Realme GT6 by over 1,500 mAh, Realme has dropped peak charging wattages from 120 W to 100 W between generations. According to Digital Chat Station, this hardware will be joined by a 144 Hz display sourced from BOE, which will be delivered in an IP69-certified package that is under 8.3 mm thick and weighs less than 205 g.
