CES 2024 | Lenovo IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 presented with power-efficient Intel Meteor Lake processors
The Lenovo IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 is the Meteor Lake-powered alternative to the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1, both of which have been announced side-by-side at CES 2024. Apart from the Intel and AMD processor choices, both SKUs are practically identical.
It is also one of the first laptops to use Intel's U-branded Meteor Lake processors, in this case, the Core 7 150U. Once again, the RAM and storage caps are out at 16 GB (LPDDR5X) and 1 TB. While the laptop has enough memory for Intel Arc features to be switched on with the iGPU, Lenovo hasn't specified if the IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 will be supported.
Like its AMD-powered counterpart, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 comes in 14-inch and 16-inch flavours. The former's resolution maxes out at WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) and the latter at 2K (2,048 x 1,280). Both are available in IPS and OLED variants, resulting in four different models.
Other Lenovo IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 specs include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, a 57 Wh battery, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, a HDMI 1.4b port and a 1080p camera that comes with a privacy shutter.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 14-inch variant retails at $759 for the base variant and its 16-inch sibling will set you back by at least $809. Both can be bought sometime in April 2024.
