Garmin has finalised its latest round of software development for the Fenix 7, Fenix 7 Pro and associated smartwatches. Available worldwide and rolling out now, System Software 22.06 brings more than a dozen new features, bug fixes and refinements to eligible smartwatches, including several focused on improving Garmin's pre-loaded activities.

Garmin has now delivered a fresh stable update for the Fenix 7, Fenix 7 Pro and other associated smartwatches like the Tactix 7 (curr. $1,040 on Amazon). To recap, the company last introduced a new stable update under a month ago with dozens of new features and bug fixes.

This time, it has transitioned to System Software 22.06 following a short-lived beta testing phase. Surprisingly, Garmin has found another dozen bugs that need fixing, including ones that could cause crashes in the Sleep Coach widget and the Connection Information page.

Additionally, System Software 22.06 is said to refine the Swim activity rest screen and to remove the edit option from un-editable Garmin Coach workouts. On top of that, the new update adds Reps and Set time data fields within the HIIT activity.

Currently, Garmin claims to have offered System Software 22.06 to around 20% of Enduro 2, Epix 2, Fenix 7 and Tactix 7 series smartwatches. In other words, it may take a few days for Garmin to deliver its new update to all eligible smartwatches. In the meantime, you can jump the queue by requesting System Software 22.06 manually on your smartwatch itself or through the Garmin Connect app. Please see Garmin's forum posts and the changelog below for more details.
