Samsung will launch three new foldables this year: the Galaxy Z Fold7, the Galaxy Z Flip7, and the Galaxy Z Flip FE, with the Z Flip FE set to be something of a mid-range offering. According to a new report, however, the Z Flip FE may not come cheap.
As newly reported by Korean outlet Sisajournal, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE will launch in Korea with an MSRP in the region of 1 million KRW. That figure converts into around $735, and is said to be the price tag on the base 128 GB model of the foldable. Supposedly, the Galaxy Z Flip FE will be available in just two storage options—128 GB and 256 GB—with the leaked Korean pricing hinting at a $699 or $749 MSRP in the US.
The new report also claims the Galaxy Z Flip FE and Galaxy Z Flip7 will be powered by the same Exynos 2500 chipset, with Samsung reserving the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy for the Z Fold7. The Exynos chipset disappointed on Geekbench weeks ago, showing performance only on par with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 on last year's Flip6.
