What the successor to the DJI Mini 4 Pro looks like has been no secret for several weeks now. Official render images, however, have been scarce until now. Thanks to a recent X post from Igor Bogdanov, we can now tick that off the list. Four press photos of the next DJI mini drone reveal the camera from below, where the official noise level of 81 dB can also be seen, which is the same as its predecessor. The sensors on the bottom and on the front are also clearly visible, including the new LiDAR sensors for better obstacle detection at night.
First promotional poster online: "Pro in Mini"
While we are fairly certain that the press photos are official images, we cannot say with 100% certainty whether this also applies to the promotional poster that appeared on X, which is supposed to show the new DJI mini drone in action. Unfortunately, the poster is only available in rather low resolution.
Launch date and availability
Previously, the launch date was set for September 16, 2025, but it cannot be ruled out that the 1-inch camera drone will be launched two days later or will only be available from September 18, 2025, at least according to a date discovered in a retailer database. Of course, this could also be an error.
