Casio G-Shock "Black and Bold Red" series watches now available for purchase

Shortly after the GBX-100S watches became available to buy in Japan, Casio's highly anticipated new G-Shock "Black and Bold Red" series is now also purchasable in the same region. The five-watch lineup, which was first revealed in a leak earlier this year, can now be purchased directly from Casio Japan's online store. Until now, only the DW-5600BBR-1JF model was purchasable in the UK.

The full collection includes the DW-5600BBR-1JF, GD-010BBR-1JF, GX-56BBR-1JF, GA-700BBR-1AJF, and GA-B2100BBR-1AJF. Each watch in the lineup features a matte black case with red-tinted LCDs, lending the series a distinct monochrome styling. While the models differ widely in form - ranging from the compact DW-5600 and rugged GX-56 to the popular analog-digital GA-B2100 - the consistent color theme ties them together as a unified drop.

Pricing starts at ¥14,300 ($92) for the DW-5600BBR-1JF and goes up to ¥24,750 ($160) for the Bluetooth-enabled GA-B2100BBR-1AJF. All models are shock-resistant and water-resistant to 200 meters, with varying features depending on the base watch: Tough Solar on the GX-56, Bluetooth sync on the GA-B2100, and large digital readouts on the GD-010.

The series doesn't appear to be a limited-edition, though Casio has not confirmed European or US availability yet. For now, the "Black and Bold Red" watches remain exclusive to Japan and the UK, but given the popularity of the featured models globally, a wider rollout wouldn't be surprising.
