Baseus' broad product portfolio, including audio solutions, have been covered extensively here at Notebookcheck. The recently announced MC1 Pro AI is the successor to last year's MC1 and is advertised with additional functions, such as the use of AI assistants via voice input, although this functionality is likely to be handled via an app and not directly on the devices. DeepSeek also appears to be supported.
The Baseus MC1 Pro are earbuds that are virtually placed around the ear or clipped in, meaning they are not inserted directly into the ear canal. They are advertised as being highly durable; the titanium alloy frame is said to be able to withstand over 8,000 bends. Four installed microphones are said to provide deep neural network-based noise reduction. Baseus claims the earbuds can filter out wind speeds up to 5m/s during voice calls.
The headphones are advertised as supporting LDAC, i.e., the minimum low-loss, wireless transmission of audio content with a data rate of up to 990 kBit/s. With the charging case, the headphones are said to have a total runtime of up to 40 hours.
The earbuds are already selling in China for the equivalent of around $60. Information on a global launch is still pending.
