Ayaneo has now completed its Strategic Sharing Session during which it showcased a new product roadmap. As we covered last week, the company's pre-event teaser suggested that one device would be revealed today. However, that was not the case. In fact, Ayaneo has lifted the lid on an entirely new sub-brand called Konkr, among other product announcements.
According to the company's CEO, Konkr will provide a stronger price-to-performance ratio than existing Ayaneo devices. Ayaneo has not confirmed how much its first Konkr-branded gaming handheld will cost, though. Likewise, it has only outlined that the first Konkr devices will arrive 'soon', starting with the Konkr Pocket Fit.
As the images throughout show, the Konkr Pocket Fit retains Ayaneo's core design language seen across other Pocket-branded gaming handhelds like the recent Pocket Evo (curr. $524.95 on Amazon). To that end, the Pocket Fit has a strongly curved design with a bezelless display, three sets of shoulder buttons and two rear-mounted buttons.
Ayaneo has not confirmed the chipset underpinning the Pocket Fit yet either. Instead, it has indicated that the device utilises a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset that delivers 'flagship performance'. Moreover, the device complements this display with a 144 Hz and 6-inch display. Apparently, a larger 7-inch option is planned too that also includes an 80 Wh battery. The company elected against revealing what the Konkr Fit looks like during today's product sharing session, though.
