Anker's Soundcore Sleep A30 earbuds with ANC and snore detection are now available to pre-order

Anker's Soundcore audio brand has opened pre-orders for the Sleep A30 earbuds, the follow-up to the Sleep A20 announced a year ago. The new earbuds come with a handful of upgrades, chief of them being Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).

The Soundcore Sleep A30 has been redesigned to be more comfortable than its predecessor. It still maintains the overall design but is reportedly slimmer which should translate to a reduction in pillow pressure when sleeping on your side. The earbuds have flexible wingtips for a secure fit and also come with four pairs of silicone eartips and three pairs of memory foam eartips.

In terms of features, the Soundcore Sleep A30 earbuds boast active noise cancellation, and according to Anker, they are 'the world's first smart ANC sleep earbuds'. The Sleep A30 can reduce low-frequency noise by up to 30 decibels, and a combination of the earbuds ANC and passive noise cancellation created by the airtight seal, blocks high-frequency sleep-disturbing noise.

In addition to ANC, the Soundcore Sleep A30 also has snore detection. Based on the info provides, the case of the earbuds detect nighttime snoring in real-time and then communicates with the earbuds to generate a masking sound that is tailored to the frequency, volume, and pattern of the snoring. Anker says the Soundcore Sleep A30 have 93% snore detection accuracy.

The new earbuds are not only suitable for sleeping but can also be used as regular earbuds. They also have automatic sleep monitoring with location tracking, an alarm function that only wakes up the wearer, and a 'Find My Earbud function' if you lose them.

The Soundcore Sleep A30 has a battery life of 9 hours with ANC, and it goes up to a total of 45 hours with the case which means it should last 5 nights before you need to charge them. When compared to the Soundcore Sleep A20 (available on Amazon for $179.99) which has a battery life of 14 hours and a total of 80 hours with the charging case, the new Sleep A30 earbuds have significantly reduced battery life.

Available in Classic White and Mist Green, the Soundcore Sleep A30 is currently available to pre-order exclusively on Kickstarter. The Soundcore Sleep A30 has a price tag of €249.99 in Europe and $229 in the US. However, those who pre-order can save up to 40% in Europe and up to $90 in the US, hence paying €149.99 and $139 respectively. The Soundcore Sleep A30 will be released in September and will be available to buy directly from Soundcore and on Amazon.
