Alongside the Anker Nano Charger (35W) with Retractable USB-C cable, Anker also announced a new multi-port charger for those who usually have several devices to charge simultaneously. The Anker Nano Charger 130W is a 6-port desktop GaN charger with a total output of 130W, allowing it to charge multiple devices including two MacBook Airs.
Available in black and white, the Anker Nano Charger (130W, 6 Ports) has four USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. It is quite slim at 19 mm which allows it to fit easily into bags. The charger comes with a soft AC plug and a storage bag to protect it from scratches.
While the charger has a total output of 130W, none of the ports can output that. However, Anker says that the charger can charge two 15'' MacBook Airs to 50% in 30 minutes or a 14-inch MacBook Pro from empty to 50% in 27 minutes. Below are the max power outputs for all six ports:
- USB-C1 - 100W max
- USB-C2 - 65W max
- USB-C3 - 20W max
- USB-C4 - 20W max
- USB-A1 - 12W max
- USB-A2 - 12W max
The Anker Nano Charger is a tad heavy at 320 grams but that isn't too much for a desktop charger with 6 Ports. It also has support for PPS, Anker's Power IQ 3.0 technology, and ActiveShield 2.0 which monitors the temperature during charging.
The Anker Nano Charger (130W, 6-ports) is available today for €59.99 on Anker's website and on Amazon. The charger was launched in China last month and is also expected to make its way to North America in the near future.
