Anker is expanding its Nano line of chargers with new models, one of which is the Anker Nano Charger (35W) with Retractable USB-C Cable (A2658). Considering that's a pretty long name, we'll stick to Anker Nano Charger (35W).
The new GaN charger drops the square shape of the Anker Nano series for a rectangular one, and while it does look bigger, Anker says it is 10% smaller than a normal 30W charger. Sadly, it doesn't have foldable plugs like the Anker 45W USB-C charger (curr. available on Amazon for $15.99). The spec sheet says the charger measures 47.8 x 61 x 30 mm and weighs 120 grams.
Anker also claims the shape of the charger and its friction-increased plug will ensure it has a sturdy grip when connected to a wall outlet. However, the highlight of the Anker Nano Charger (35W) is its 70 cm long retractable USB-C Cable. The cable is said to be able to withstand bending and retracting over 20,000 times.
The Anker Nano Charger (35W) has Anker's signature PowerIQ 3.0 technology and ActiveShield technology. The former automatically adjusts the power output based on the device connected while the latter is a dynamic temperature sensor that actively monitors the temperature.
In addition to the retractable USB-C cable, the new charger also has a single USB-C port, so owners can charge two devices simultaneously. The Anker Nano Charger (35W) with Retractable USB-C cable will be available in grey, white, and green, and can be purchased for €39.99 directly from Anker's website or Amazon.
