AOC has joined Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Samsung and others in releasing a gaming monitor globally based around Samsung Display's recent 500 Hz QD-OLED panel. To recap, AOC introduced the Agon Pro AG276QKD2 last month shortly before Samsung released the Odyssey OLED G6 G60SF in the US (curr. $999 on Amazon).
Now, AOC has confirmed that its ultra-fast gaming monitor has reached Europe and the UK. Incidentally, while the company lists the Agon Pro AG276QKD2 on its United States website, it indicates that the monitor may not reach the United States at all. At this stage, AOC has not suggested that this is a temporary or permanent restriction, though.
As we have discussed previously, the Agon Pro AG276QKD2 combines its 500 Hz refresh rate with a 1440p native resolution across a 27-inch panel. Additionally, the monitor integrates three display inputs with a small USB hub and a 3.5 mm jack. Also, AOC has included an adjustable stand and covers against OLED burn-in with a 3-year warranty.
Surprisingly, the Agon Pro AG276QKD2 retails for significantly more in the Eurozone than in the UK, even adjusting for current exchange rates. On the one hand, AOC has revealed that the Agon Pro AG276QKD2 retails for €949 including taxes in the Eurozone. However, the monitor currently costs €1,129 on Amazon Germany. On the other hand, the same monitor has arrived in the UK for £679. Please see AOC's website for more hardware details.
