It's been fourteen years since Skyrim was released, and the game has many mods created by dedicated fans. But recently, a new and totally stunning mod has appeared for the game, propelling you into a universe reminiscent of BioShock.
It must be said that the community around this game is still active, and many modders around the world are eager to put their talent at the disposal of players to offer ever more new features. Some are so complete that they can be likened to DLC, offering players new and unique adventures with twists and turns that can't be found anywhere else.
This mod, called Call of the Deep and created by the talented arminZX12, allows you to visit the city of R'lyend, part of the Dwemer civilization, presumed lost and submerged under water, which may remind you of the city of Rapture in BioShock. Fully voiced for added comfort, you can follow a captivating story where mystery and adventure reign supreme.
And that's not all, because new gameplay features are available in this mod that have never been seen before in Skyrim. New weapons will be at your disposal, as well as new spells. Finally, unique items such as accessories for alchemists will also be included. Of course, with such a comprehensive mod, you'll be able to face new monsters and bosses that could give you a run for your money.
So, if you feel like venturing into these troubled waters and discovering a new universe in your favorite game, you can download it via Nexus Mods. However, it should be noted that this mod is only compatible with the Special edition and The Anniversary Edition on PC. What's more, this could well be arminZX12's last project as a modder, and playing it could allow him to end on a high note.
