Explore a vast open world as a toy soldier, solve clever puzzles and prove your skills against other plastic warriors in Supraland. The game has received glowing reviews and is currently available for just $4 thanks to an 80% discount – the lowest price it has ever seen.

Supraland was developed by Supra Games and first released for PC on April 5, 2019. Created mostly by lead developer David Münnich with support from a small team, the game later made its way to consoles with Humble Games as its publisher. Built using Unreal Engine 4, Supraland blends first-person shooter mechanics with Metroidvania progression and classic puzzle-solving, all set in a sandbox world seen through the eyes of a tiny toy. In its review, the German gaming magazine GameStar awarded the game a strong 87 out of 100, praising its imaginative level design and humorous style filled with pop culture references. The editors described it as a “fantastic sandbox” that stands out for its creativity and charm.

The story follows a red toy prince whose homeland faces an unexpected water shortage. Determined to find the cause, he sets off on an adventure through a surprisingly intricate world filled with quirky encounters, a brewing conflict between red and blue inhabitants, and an unforeseen threat. The sandbox world is open from the start, though many areas remain inaccessible until new abilities are unlocked, staying true to the Metroidvania tradition. At the core of the experience are the game’s many puzzles, which challenge players to think creatively and make smart use of the tools at their disposal.

Combat in Supraland takes place from a first-person perspective but remains simple and plays a minor role compared to puzzles and exploration. At first, you fend off enemies with a basic wooden sword, but as the game progresses, upgrades like an energy weapon and combo attacks become available. One standout feature is the absence of a minimap or path markers. Instead, navigation relies on memorable landmarks, enhancing the sense of immersion. On Steam, Supraland boasts around 10,000 reviews with an impressive 96% positive rating. On Metacritic, it holds a Metascore of 85, while players gave it a solid User Score 8.3.

80% discount on Steam – lowest price ever

Supraland is usually priced at around $20 on Steam, but it’s currently available for just $4 thanks to an 80% discount – the biggest deal yet, according to SteamDB. Until now, the highest discount had been 79%. The offer runs until July 24. Unfortunately, the game isn’t supported on the Steam Deck (available on Amazon for $463).
