Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 camera specifications and updated UI leak
While Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold3 later this year, a leaked promotional video has seemingly already confirmed most aspects about the upcoming foldable smartphone. Now, Ice Universe has published GIFs detailing a UI update within One UI targeted at foldable smartphones.
According to the well-known leaker, Samsung will call these revision 'Split UI', with the clue being in the name. Samsung has already integrated UI scaling in One UI, but Split UI would take this further.
For example, app panels would become resizable, as shown below. Currently, One UI does not provide this degree of customisation, although it is something that desktop OSes have supported for decades.
Separately, @FrontTron has published details on the Galaxy Z Fold3's cameras. Apparently, Samsung has opted for the same cameras as the ones it used on the Galaxy Z Fold2, bar a new front-facing camera within the cover display.
Additionally, this would mean that the Galaxy Z Fold3 would have the same primary camera as the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series, albeit 18 months on. The switch to an Under Panel Camera (UPC) would be a big change for the Galaxy Z Fold series, even if Samsung plans to use the same camera hardware. You can read the supposed camera specifications below.
