Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 last year and looks set to refresh it, with a potential Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 built on TSMC's 4 nm node. That chipset, internally coded as "SM7475" has now appeared on AnTuTu, with scores that look to rival the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

Qualcomm looks geared to debut a new sub-premium chipset in the coming months. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 launched back in May last year but has mostly been ignored by OEMs in favor of MediaTek's Dimensity 8100 and other chipsets. Qualcomm seems set to remedy that with the launch of a refreshed SoC, expected to be the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1, and that chipset has now made its first benchmark appearance with some impressive results.

Reportedly shared on Weibo by popular leaker Digital Chat Station, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1, breaks the one-million mark on AnTuTu, essentially recording scores in the same ballpark as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The SoC, aboard a Realme device, earns a total score of 1,029,731. While a GPU score isn't listed, the phone comes away with a score of 248,132 in the CPU department. Those numbers come incredibly close to the test results of Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 phones. For example, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 recorded a total score of 1,054,035, and a CPU score of 247,416.

It remains unconfirmed how exactly this chipset will be branded but it bears the model number "SM7475". Considering Qualcomm's naming scheme—SM8450 was the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and SM8475 the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1—it's likely this will debut as the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1. Additionally, Digital Chat Station claims Qualcomm will debut the SM7550 at the end of the year. That chipset can be expected to be the Snapdragon 7 Gen 2.
