Dell has revealed the UltraSharp U3224KB 32-inch IPS monitor with a 6K resolution. With an integrated webcam and two speakers, Dell is marketing the display to professionals who need a quality screen for work and video conferencing. The monitor also has plenty of ports in both the front and the back providing robust connectivity options.

CES 2023 is in full swing with companies launching products both big and small. Dell has also joined the party with the launch of its UltraSharp lineup of productivity monitors. Among the three, the Dell UltraSharp 32 6K monitor (U3224KB) is the most interesting.

Targeted at professionals, the UltraSharp U3224KB has a resolution of 6K (6144x3456) with a diagonal measuring 31.5 inches. Dell claims that the U3224KB is the world’s first 6K panel with the IPS Black technology that enables the screen to have up to 1.4 times higher contrast, 41% better blacks, and 1.2x enhanced color accuracy. Per the company, the panel on the U3224KB has a 2,000:1 contrast ratio and covers 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 100% Rec. 709 color space. Other notable screen specs include VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification and ComfortView Plus, a hardware feature that reduces blue light emissions.

The UltraSharp U3224KB also comes with a built-in 4K HDR webcam that supports auto AI framing to ensure you are always in focus. The camera is also capable of recording 4K video at 30 FPS and FHD video at 30/60 fps. You can also adjust the FOV (field of view) between 65°, 78°, and 90°, as well as tweak the camera position between 0 and 20°. Finally, the monitor also has two 14 W speakers, so you won’t need to plug in external ones.

When it comes to connectivity, Dell has outfitted the U3224KB with the latest mini-DisplayPort 2.1 and a Thunderbolt 4 port that can deliver up to 140 W of power. There are also USB Type-A 10 Gbps and ethernet ports alongside front ports for quickly connecting peripherals. What’s more, you can connect two PCs simultaneously and operate them with one set of keyboard and mouse thanks to Auto KVM.

The Dell UltraSharp U3224KB is coming to the market sometime in H1 2023. Unfortunately, Dell hasn’t shared any set release date and final price.
