Appearing on the market in March 2021 and fitting into our Premium ($600-$799) segment, the Nubia RedMagic 6 Pro comes with some special features, including an ICE 6.0 Multi-dimensional Cooling System, a game space, and a display with a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz. Let’s see how it fared in our comprehensive array of Battery performance tests. While falling short in Autonomy, the Nubia RedMagic 6 Pro is an efficient device with such fast and powerful charging that it comes with a cooling system to avoid damaging the battery. A great smartphone for users who need to charge quickly.

ZTE’s Red Magic 6 Pro meets or exceeds all test parameters, so we start at a passmark of 8/10. Screen, warranty, expandability, battery life, dedicated GamesSpace and raw power take it to 9+. We are not going to penalise it for the OS or camera because they do the job.

All in all, the Nubia Red Magic 6 Pro is a great gaming phone. It's not the best phone on the market compared to the software offered by devices like the Samsung Galaxy S21, but it's pretty close. When you consider the price, anyone looking for a gaming phone should consider this one, as it offers impressive specs for the dollar amount.

The Nubia RedMagic 6 Pro handles artifacts well; however, its general lack of brightness significantly impacted the readability of both still content and videos. Further, even though it is smooth to the touch when both browsing and gaming, problems with touch zooming also adversely affected its score.

The RedMagic 6 Pro has a lot to like — a huge battery, a bright screen, and the highest-end specs. It also serves its intended purpose as a gaming phone beautifully! The trade-offs are software that lacks polish, more than a few bugs, and a horrible camera.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
