Xiaomi has started teasing its next TV, following the announcement of the Mi TV 6 Extreme Edition in June. This time, Xiaomi has readied a second-generation OLED TV, having released its first model, the Mi TV Lux and Mi TV Master series, last year. Unfortunately, Xiaomi is yet to bring any OLED TVs to Europe or the US.
It remains to be seen if its second-generation OLED will receive a release outside of China, but we do know it will debut in Xiaomi's home market on August 10. Incidentally, the Mi Pad 5 and Mi Mix 4 will arrive on the same, with Xiaomi seemingly planning another of its bumper launch events.
Undoubtedly, Xiaomi will continue to tease its next OLED TV between now and August 10. So far, the company has revealed that the TV will support NVIDIA G-SYNC, hinting at its gaming credentials. Presumably, the TV utilises NVIDIA's adaptive sync technology because it has a high-refresh-rate panel. We would not be surprised if Xiaomi included HDMI 2.1 ports too, which would open it up for use with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X.
