The possible Xiaomi Redmi K30i has been spotted again, this time in a listing for the Chinese TENAA agency. Along with the specifications of the device there are some images showing three sides of the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone. A 48 MP rear camera and 5G connectivity have been confirmed, leading to speculation that this will be the Redmi K30i.
Unsurprisingly, as a “lite” version of the Redmi K30 5G, the Redmi K30i has very similar specifications to its more-expensive counterpart. The 6.7-inch smartphone has an IPS LCD screen and a 2400x1080 resolution, and it will likely be powered by a Snapdragon 765G SoC. The official images from TENAA (see below) show how similar the K30i is in appearance to the Redmi K30 5G.
If you look carefully at the front of the supposed Xiaomi Redmi K30i you can just make out the front-facing camera sensor. It is a dual-camera system that confirms the tipster Xiaomishka’s misgivings about a recently leaked image of the Redmi K30i that only featured a single selfie camera, proving it to be a fan render of the smartphone. The K30i should be released running on Android 10/MIUI 11 and is expected to cost around 1,799 yuan (US$255).
