Xiaomi reveals stable HyperOS 4 global rollout plans for dozens of smartphones and tablets

A few months have passed since Xiaomi revealed which smartphones would be the first to receive HyperOS 4 globally. As we discussed at the time, the company initially featured seven smartphones, including the Xiaomi 17 Ultra (curr. $1,235 on Amazon). Now, the company has announced that it has added 24 other devices to its initial HyperOS 4 global rollout.

As the image below shows, this initial batch takes in the Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro, as well as numerous Redmi smartphones from the Redmi 15 and Redmi 17 series. In total, Xiaomi hopes to begin offering HyperOS 4 globally to 31 devices from early November 2026. Moreover, a further 16 devices should begin receiving update notifications later that same month.

Finally, another 33 devices are in line to move from HyperOS 3 to HyperOS 4 in December. By our count, this global rollout includes 80 devices, of which 65 are smartphones. Additionally, Xiaomi plans to bring HyperOS 4 to 15 tablets across its Poco, Redmi and flagship Xiaomi series.

At this stage, Xiaomi has not outlined rollout plans for 2027. Also, it is worth noting that the company has not confirmed exact release dates for any of these updates. Based on an initial rollout for the Poco F8 Pro, HyperOS 4 will be more than an 8 GB download for those upgrading from stable HyperOS 3 builds. The full list of devices eligible to receive HyperOS 4 globally is as follows:
