Xiaomi Redmi K40 Pro is an impeccable flagship smartphone with excellent battery life, a great OLED panel, powerful chipset, a stereo speaker setup, and that too at a price tag that no Samsung or Apple flagship could reach i.e. half of what you would pay on these two brands to buy a flagship phone. Overall, the Xiaomi Redmi K40 Pro + performed decently in playback and was notably able as a recording device, especially at this price point. In playback, it had a good volume performance at both ends of the spectrum, good wideness in landscape mode, and correct bass precision despite the lack of bass and low-end, which was one thing holding it back overall as a playback device. The lack of high-end extension was also an issue. The tonal balance was inconsistent. As a recording device, the K40 Pro + really shined. Other than compression that impaired dynamics in the high SPL scenario, the K40 Pro+ turned in an excellent score in timbre and above-average scores in other attributes.

Xiaomi offers its products under the Mi, Redmi and POCO brands.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Qualcomm Adreno 650: Graphics chip for smartphones and tablets that is integrated within the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. Qualcomm claims that it is 25% faster than the Adreno 640 in the Snapdragon 855 SoC and offers 50% more compute units (ALUs). For Android it should be one of the fastest graphics cards in 2020.

Qualcomm Adreno 660: Graphics chip for smartphones and tablets that is integrated within the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. Qualcomm claims that it is 35% faster than the Adreno 650 in the Snapdragon 865 SoC and offers a 20% better power efficiency.For Android it should be one of the fastest graphics cards in 2021.

Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.

ARM Mali-G77 MP9: Integrated graphics card based on the Valhall architecture. Uses 9 of the 16 possible clusters and according to ARM offers 30% better performance at 30% better efficiency compared to a Mali-G76.

Furthermore, four energy saving cores are integrated that are based on the ARM Cortex-A55 architecture and clock at up to 1.8 GHz.

SD 888 5G: High-end SoC for smartphones that was introduced in late 2020 and manufactured in 5 nm at Samsung. Integrates one “Prime Core” based on a ARM Cortex-X1 architecture clocked at up to 2.84 GHz. Three more performance cores are based on the A78 but clock up to 2.42 GHz. Furthermore, four energy saving cores are integrated that are based on the ARM Cortex-A55 architecture and clock at up to 1.8 GHz. In addition to the processor cores, the SoC integrates a WiFi 6e modem, a Hexagon 780 DSP (up to 26 TOPS of AI performance) and a Spectra 580 ISP. The integrated memory controller now supports faster LPDDR5 memory with up to 3,200 MHz. 5G is now included in the chip with the Snapdragon X60 modem.

Dimensity 1200: The Dimensity 1200 is a high-end SoC with an integrated 5G modem. It includes four fast ARM Cortex-A78 cores at up to 3 GHz and four power efficient Cortex-A55 cores at up to 2 GHz.
