Xiaomi Mijia Smart Air Purifier Pro debuts with integrated humidification and UV sterilization

Xiaomi has added a new smart home device to its global product lineup: the Mijia Smart Air Purifier with Humidification Pro (model number CJSJSQ02ZM). While the official global listing is now live, release dates and regional availability have not yet been confirmed. During its initial crowdfunding campaign in China, the unit was offered at around $255. However, final retail pricing in Europe or North America will likely be higher than a direct currency conversion would suggest.

As a dual-function system, the device purifies and humidifies indoor air simultaneously. While active humidification is rarely needed in summer—unless heavy air conditioning dries out a space—it can significantly boost indoor comfort during the winter heating season. Xiaomi highlights a particulate clean air delivery rate (PCADR) of up to 422 m³/h. Beyond raw air volume, purification performance is a key selling point: according to official specs, the unit removes 99.99% of fine particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, and PM10) within one hour, alongside various airborne pathogens and allergens. This is particularly relevant for allergy sufferers, as pollen and dust frequently enter living spaces on clothing, skin, and hair even with windows closed.

Measuring 320 x 320 x 810 mm, the purifier includes a ultra-quiet sleep mode rated at just 14.6 dBA. To prevent standing water from breeding bacteria or releasing microbes into the room, the humidification system integrates UV sterilization. While market launch details for this specific model remain pending, alternative Xiaomi air purifiers are already widely available through retailers such as Amazon.
