You can use it while it is bent: The Xiaomi flexible concept phone.
A new video shows Xiaomi's flexible display in action. Even though it is bent right in the middle, it can be touched and operated in a normal way. Be sure to check it out!

At the end of last week we showed you images of a new flexible display that Xiaomi integrated into a concept phone. We now have a video that briefly shows how the display is operated even though it is bent right in the middle. While still a concept phone and not a finished product, the video does seem to suggest that Xiaomi has come quite a long way. We do know from Lenovo and Samsung, both of which showed new phone concepts using flexible displays this year, that the display itself may not be the hardest part about it. A flexible phone also needs flexible batteries and flexible silicon, both of which may be harder to achieve than flexible displays. So don't expect Xiaomi to ship this anytime soon.
