The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is coming. Xiaomi has since confirmed its plans to launch the Xiaomi 13 Ultra as its main flagship phone both in China and on the global market. Recent rumors hinted at a possible launch at MWC in Barcelona next month but a new leak seems to contradict those rumors.
According to typically reliable leaker Digital Chat Station, both the OPPO Find X6 and Honor Magic5 series will debut just after the Chinese New Year. China's New Year falls on January 22. Considering how long the festivities last, both lineups can be expected to launch in mid to late February. The leaker is vehement, however, that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will launch at a later date.
Seeing as MWC begins in late February, it's unlikely that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra gets released at the conference. Confirmed, however, is the global debut of the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro flagships. Going by back-alley whispers on Chinese web pages, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra could be prepped for a late March or early April launch in Xiaomi's home market. It's unknown, though, if the flagship will debut globally simultaneously.
