You control Ash, a character who survived the end of the world and who must find his own destiny through a frightening and stressful universe. This platformer is challenging, and you will encounter numerous failures. Your movements must be precise, and you will also need to collect items in different locations to progress through the game. 

There are over 600 levels available and more than 12 different chapters to explore. Mini-games can be found via cartridges, allowing you to unlock specific achievements. Finally, there are hidden bonuses, and if you manage to finish the game, you will discover several alternative endings.

Developed by Edmund McMillen (The Binding of Isaac, Mewgenics) and Tyler Glaiel, this game is renowned for its difficulty. Despite this, it is enjoyed by 93% of players on Steam, out of more than 3,200 reviews, as well as on Metacritic, where it received a score of 84 and a user score of 7.5.

But several players have had a bad experience. Indeed, its difficulty increases gradually, and there is no map available. Movements are sometimes imprecise, making each jump very difficult to perform. In addition, a lack of reward is highlighted, as there are no new characters or skins when items are collected.
