Another wave of new free games has been spotted on Steam. These new additions were mostly released on the platform in February 2026, and among them, there are a good number of titles with decent player ratings.

Steam gets new releases every now and then, and not all of these new additions are often paid. For example, recently, a handful of newly released free games were spotted, and now, another wave has come under the spotlight.

These rounds of new free games, like the last ones, come with RPG, action, and multiplayer titles. Not all of them, however, have a decent player rating, but there are a handful that seem worth trying. For example:

  • Help Bipboop -  a punishing indie puzzler that resets the level when the player falls or encounters obstacles. It comes with colorful visuals and currently sports a 90% positive rating.
  • Geenius: Cupid Dough -  a 2D platformer with fast-paced gameplay and pixelated visuals. This free game on Steam currently has a 100% positive rating that's curated from 23 reviews.
  • Be Queen Bee - a strategy game with real-time action gameplay and strategic survival elements. It currently has over 70 player reviews, and among them 96% are positive.
  • Spacetime Shooter - an action game with time manipulation gameplay mechanics. This freebie currently holds a 97% positive rating that's based on 44 reviews.
  • Trust Me, I Nailed It - a turn-based strategy title where players get to edit video clips to fight enemies. This free game has around 140 reviews and a 97% positive rating.
  • Punishing: Gray Raven - an action game with sci-fi visuals and RPG elements. It has over 660 player reviews, of which 71% are positive.
  • EXE.CUTOR - an indie card game with strategic elements and sci-fi graphics. This free game currently holds a 100% positive rating with around 50 reviews.
  • No Mana, Just Dice - a tactical roguelike game with turn-based combat and an interesting storyline. It has proper controller support (PowerA Wired curr. $20.99 on Amazon) and currently sports a 94% positive rating with around 60 reviews.
  • Solo Tactics - a 1v1 MOBA with three different champions and fast-paced action. This free game on Steam currently boasts a 71% positive player rating.
