Oukitel is once again expanding smartphone lineup. The WP58 Pro is currently available directly from the manufacturer for $289, but prospective buyers should thoroughly check the shipping conditions and manufacturer warranty conditions before placing their order.
The WP58 Pro is a rugged smartphone and weighs 370 grams, which is not particularly light. The Chinese manufacturer also advertises IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certifications. The device offers two separate flashlights on the back that are supposed to provide 1,000 and 900 lumens, respectively. These two lights differ in color temperature, as one sports a rather cold white light, while the other appears to be a bit warmer.
Either way, the Oukitel smartphone is equipped with a 10,000mAh battery that can be charged with up to 33 watts. It also supports 10W reverse charging, so it can be used like a power bank. Moreover, the WP58 Pro is powered by an SoC with eight cores and 5G support, so it’s not limited to 4G LTE like some other cheap rugged smartphones. The remaining specs include 8GB RAM, while the 512GB mass storage is also reasonably sized. The phone runs on Android 15 out of the box, and users can expand the storage via microSD by sacrificing one of the dual SIM card slots.
Outkitel further opted for a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 64MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera, the latter of which may have limited practical value. Additionally, there’s a 8MP night vision camera and a 6.7-inch display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
