Xiaomi has just revealed its global release plans for HyperOS 3, having outlined an equivalent rollout schedule for China earlier this month. Now, Vivo has followed suit by announcing the first devices that are set to receive OriginOS 6.
At this stage, Vivo is not quite ready to confirm a full eligibility list, nor when OriginOS 6 will reach stable status. However, the company has implied that it will make a full OriginOS 6-related announcement before unveiling the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro on October 13.
By all accounts, these pair will be the first devices that Vivo releases running OriginOS 6. In the meantime, those who own an X Fold5 or X200 series handset, like the X200 Pro mini or X200 Ultra can experience OriginOS 6 on its beta program. Incidentally, the latter has just been conquered by the iPhone 17 Pro series in independent camera analysis (curr. $1,539 on Amazon).
Additionally, Vivo has included the iQOO 13, iQOO Neo10, iQOO Neo10 Pro and iQOO Neo10 Pro Plus on that list, as the image below shows. According to sources like WhyLab, OriginOS 6 offers smoother animation effects than OriginOS 5, among other changes. Applications for the OriginOS 6 beta program will remain open until October 6 at 23:59 China Time (UTC +08:00).
