Vivo X300 Max reveals itself in new leaks with hardware confirmed

A new Vivo X300 series smartphone has taken a step closer to receiving an official release. For context, Vivo already sells the X300 and X300 Pro across China and globally. However, rumours of Vivo releasing an X300 Ultra to rival the Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $759 on Amazon) and upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra have been swirling for months.
Now, Vivo has certified the X300 Max in China ahead of its release in Vivo's home market. Bearing the model number V2548A, the X300 Max should slot in above the X300 and rumoured X300e but below the X300 Pro and X300 Ultra. Digital Chat Station indicates that there could be a second X300 Max variant too; details about this model remain unknown for now, though.
Instead, the leaker focuses on the X300 Max, which the 3C reveals supports 90 W fast charging like the X300 and X300 Pro before it. Additionally, Digital Chat Station claims that Vivo has complemented this charging capability with a circa 7,000 mAh battery and MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 chipset. Other highlights include a 6.78-inch and 1440p LTPO OLED display, Zeiss optics and IP certification. A release date remains unclear for now, though.
