Unreleased game headlines upcoming Epic Games Store giveaway

Two free games just went live on Epic Games Store, but the main highlight of the latest refresh is the upcoming PC game giveaway. The storefront has revealed that the upcoming freebie will be Prop Sumo, a party game that didn't see a 1.0 launch yet.
However, this upcoming Epic Games Store free game has finished two playtests, and the player response from both was positive. As the developers describe, Prop Sumo is a party game that pits players against each other.
The game has a witty theme to it. Players get to fight against each other as props, and there are over 40 different options. Each of them comes with a weight class that can alter the player's stats, and all of them have quirky animations and movements.
There are 22 different items that players can use during the fights, and like the props, these items have special traits. The developing team further notes the dynamic nature of the maps. That means things can take an unexpected turn as the environment changes throughout the fights.
Another key aspect of this upcoming free game is that it has a progression system. Players can unlock coupons with the experience that they gain from each fight. These coupons can be used to obtain new props and powerful ultimates.
As for the gameplay, there are multiple modes, including free-for-all and 1v1. Players also get different host settings and access to private lobbies. However, unlike some of the other party games, like Moving Out 2, Prop Sumo doesn't have support for local co-op.
Prop Sumo will be available as a free game on Epic Games Store on April 09, 2026. You can learn more about this upcoming freebie from the video below.
