Unlocked LG X Venture hits the US market

Back in May, LG announced the X Venture handset. At the end of the same month, US sales started. Unfortunately, this rugged Android smartphone arrived on US soil as an AT&T exclusive device. Now, those interested in having an unlocked LG X Venture can finally grab one from Amazon.

LG X Venture is IP68-rated for protection from water, and it also complies with military standards for shock resistance. Its features include a 5.2-inch full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, 5 MP and 16 MP cameras, all powered by a generous 4,100 mAh battery. This handset can be used with gloves up to 2 mm thick and features a customizable side button that can be configured to perform a wide range of actions.

Amazon has only the black version listed for now, but it comes with a 15 percent price cut. If you act now, you can get it for US$295.05, 15 percent down from the list price of US$349.99.
