Ugreen launches new Ryzen-powered NAS with 10Gbps and up to 64GB RAM

Ugreen has launched the DXP4800 GT in its home country. The new 4-bay NAS joins the Intel-powered DXP4800 Plus and DXP4800 Pro, adding an AMD Ryzen option to the lineup. Surprisingly, Ugreen opted for the less powerful Ryzen Embedded R2514 processor compared to the Pentium Gold 8505 and Core i3-1315U found in the Plus and Pro models. Even so, the new NAS still supports four SATA drives and adds a few extras of its own.
From the outside, the DXP4800 GT stands out with a black-and-gold design instead of the silver finish used on previous models. Like the other variants, the NAS supports up to four 3.5-inch SATA drives, but the first and second bays can also accommodate U.2 SSDs, giving the NAS an advantage in sustained read and write workloads compared to standard SATA storage.
That said, the NAS is available with either 8GB or 16GB of DDR4 memory with ECC support and includes 64GB of built-in flash memory, alongside two additional M.2 SSD slots.
For connectivity, the DXP4800 GT upgrades to dual 10GbE ports on the rear, replacing the 2.5GbE + 10GbE setup found on the previous models. The rest of the ports remain similar, with a 10Gbps USB-A port, two USB 2.0 ports, and HDMI on the rear panel. The front adds another 10Gbps USB-A and 10Gbps USB-C port, plus a microSD card reader and status LEDs for the drives and Ethernet connection.
Ugreen is now selling the DXP4800 GT in China starting at 2,681 yuan (~$394). By comparison, the DXP4800 Plus and Pro are currently available in the US for $729.99 and $799.99, respectively, before discounts.
