Two top-rated games worth nearly $85 will be free on Epic Games Store after Cyber Monday
The Epic Games Store has made a new game free-to-own, and with that, the storefront has revealed two games that will go free after Cyber Monday. More specifically, Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be up for grabs after 16:00 UTC on December 5.
Like any other weekly giveaways from the Epic Games Store, this free games deal will last for a week, ending on December 12 at 16:00 UTC. After that, the storefront will replace these two titles with something else.
As for the soon-to-be free games, Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop is a simulation game that generally goes for $34.99 when there's no sale in place. You get to play as a bus driver, cruising through different routes while interacting with the passengers. It also has a management aspect, letting you oversee the bus company.
Stillalive Studios, the game's developer, designed the driving mechanics in such a way that players get to experience what real-life bus operations feel like. There are a variety of driving controls, and you can adjust the settings, such as the braking power, to get a more realistic experience. On Steam, it has a "Mostly Positive" rating with over 3,300 player reviews.
Moving to the other soon-to-be free Epic Games Store game, developed by TT Games, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is an action-adventure game. It encompasses all nine mainline Star Wars films in a humorous Lego style. You get to explore iconic locations, engage in combats, and solve different puzzles.
Compared to the previous Lego games, The Skywalker Saga has revamped combat mechanics. It's dynamic and engaging, with each character having unique abilities. There are extensive customization options, and the puzzles in the game often require cooperation between characters.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has a "Very Positive" rating on Steam with over 34,00 player reviews. It generally goes for $49.99 when there's no deal in place, bringing the total value for next week's Epic Games Store giveaway to $84.98.
Both these two soon-to-be Epic Games Store free titles have relatively less demanding hardware requirements. That means they will run well on most systems, including a good number of gaming handhelds (Z1 Extreme ROG Ally curr. $499.99 on Best Buy). You can learn about them from the videos attached below.
