After Inc: Revival – successor to Plague Inc. conquers iOS and Android

Ndemic Creations achieved massive success in 2012 with their pandemic simulation game Plague Inc.. In this strategic game, players guide pathogens with the goal of infecting and eventually wiping out humanity. The studio followed up in 2018 with Rebel Inc., a sequel that shifts focus to stabilizing a conflict-ridden region. On November 27, the third installment of the series launched for iOS and Android, challenging players to rebuild society after a zombie apocalypse.

After Inc: Revival combines strategy, city-building and survival gameplay. Players scavenge ruins, gather resources and develop settlements by constructing various buildings. The game also incorporates moral choices that shape the storyline. The base version is free and contains no microtransactions. Expansions can be purchased with a single payment, providing permanent access.

After Inc: Revival quickly gained popularity after its release. Within the first three days, it surpassed 50,000 downloads on the Google Play Store, earning an impressive average rating of 4.8 stars from 1,478 reviews. On the Apple App Store, it boasts a 4.9-star rating from 266 reviews and holds the second spot in the strategy category.

After Inc: Revival is currently available exclusively for Android (version 6.0 and up) and iOS (version 13.0 and up). A PC version is in development and slated for release in 2025. Players can already add it to their wishlist on Steam, though the exact launch date has yet to be confirmed.
