The moment where he finally realized that the large sum of cash is not a hoax.
The moment where he finally realized that the large sum of cash is not a hoax.
The Twitch Streamer “Exotic Chaotic” must have felt like he won the lottery after unexpectedly having another Twitch Streamer deposit US$75,000 into his PayPal account.

The Streamer “Exotic Chaotic” was visibly stunned after receiving what is known to be the highest Donation in Twitch history to date. “Exotic Chaotic” is a Twitch streamer that has specialized in playing Fortnite and is currently working on unlocking and collecting every Skin available in the game. He was doing just that when the US$75,000 notification popped up on his screen.

Clearly astounded, the Streamer discontinues his game and immediately logs into his Paypal account, thinking that the money is a hoax or simply money from his moderator who was in the habit of sending him US$100 test deposits. However, after repeatedly checking for any possible errors that may have occurred on his Paypal account, the gamer finally realized that the large sum of cash had indeed been deposited into his account.

Normally Twitch users donate small sums of money, making this US$75,000 donation an extremely rare occurrence. The Good Samaritan in this case was another Twitch Streamer that goes by the name “KingMascot”; a friend of “Exotic Chaotic” who wanted to help him out in a time of financial strain…a kind gesture on his part; seeing as not all Twitch Streamers manage to acquire lucrative advertisement deals from sponsors, the way popular streamer “Ninja” has done. “Ninja” disclosed this information about himself in a recent interview with CNN. He also admitted to spending 18 hours a day in front of his Computer streaming on the internet without break or leave; however his commitment earned him 10 million US$ in the year 2018.

I am the generation who made the first computer experiences in the 90s on a 386 with the 20MHz turbo key. It was a tightrope walk between the performance limit of my computer and the scarce pocket money, but the motivation to get the last bit of performance out of it was all the greater. With 2MB of RAM, squeezing a single kilobyte out of the config.sys file was absolutely decisive for "Game starts" or "Game does not start". From this point on I also started to get more and more involved with benchmark tests, performance comparisons and tuning of components on the hardware side, which made me a permanent visitor to the Notebookcheck site in the last years. So it's a great pleasure for me to be able to write and test actively for this site myself.
