Eurocom is refreshing its trade-in program this year now that Nvidia Turing options are available. Send in any MSI or Alienware laptop for an automatic 25 percent off a configurable Eurocom system. Other laptops may be accepted as well - dead or alive.

If you're still rocking a generations old gaming laptop on its last legs, then perhaps consider a Eurocom as your next upgrade. The Clevo reseller is once again offering heavy discounts for users in the market for a new gaming laptop or mobile workstation. The deal is particularly lucrative for universities or businesses who often have several powerful-but-aging laptops ready to be replaced.

As detailed on the official landing page here, the trade-in program targets Alienware and MSI owners who will automatically receive the maximum 25 percent discount when they send in their laptops. Other brands are accepted as well, although the discount may be lower depending on wear and age. There appears to be no upper limit to the discount and so users could potentially trade in a dying gaming laptop for $750 off a new Eurocom X9C with RTX 2080 graphics.

Trade-in laptops will still be evaluated on a case-by-case basis especially for brands other than Alienware or MSI. For example, Eurocom doesn't draw a fine line between what is considered gaming or non-gaming which may lead to users trading in entry-level gaming models equipped with GeForce 940MX GPUs or slower.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s. When I'm not managing day-to-day activities and US review articles on Notebookcheck, you can catch me following the eSports scene and the latest gaming news.
