A large laptop with its own numeric keypad that offers good value for money. The Toshiba Equium L350D-11D (£400 inc. VAT) is an expensive machine, but it still represents astounding value for money. The Toshiba Equium L350D-11D is a comfortable laptop to use. You won't be disappointed, but you may soon outgrow the rather basic specification.

ATI Radeon Xpress X1250: It is an onboard graphic chip, implemented on AMD M690G. Sometimes, it is also called Mobility Radeon X1250. It is based on X700 design but with less pixel- and vertex pipelines. It hardly suited for players.

These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.

This range for display formats was and is a rarity. It is larger than the general standard of 15 inches, but not yet in the range of large workstations. One usually has higher screen resolutions available, but portability suffers from that.

A laptop with this weight is comparatively heavy and less designed for mobility than for use at the desk. Therefore, the devices tend to shine less with battery life than with a large screen and higher performance.
