Reviews for the Toshiba Satellite P50-B-10V
Source: Itsvet
HR→EN Archive.org versionAt the price of 1200 Euros, this laptop is not a cheap middle category model, however, the powerful Intel Core i7 processor, separate AMD Radeon graphics as well as excellent Full HD screen is provided. The only complaint refers to the hard disk, and at the price it is strange there were no place for a quick drive that would mean a lot for already excellent performance. Toshiba Satellite models are well known, except that the new P50 model represents definitely the best thing that Toshiba has ever had in this series.
Positive: Expandable up to 16GB of RAM; good display; excellent performance. Negative: No SSD.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
4710HQ: Haswell-based quad-core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz with Turbo Boost support up to 3.5 GHz. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 4600 GPU and a dual channel DDR3 memory controller.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
