WonderKing is a 2D MMORPG in which you must complete various missions to obtain better equipment in order to defeat your enemies. But despite its many features, the game has mostly negative reviews on Steam.

WonderKing is a 2D side-scrolling MMORPG available for free on Steam since January 12, 2026. But despite its many features, reviews on Steam are mostly negative, highlighting a number of issues.

Thus, the story of this game is quite simplistic, because it immerses you in the quest for the WonderKing, in which a legendary hero must face, alongside several allies, an evil force that threatens the world. In other words, you can become this legendary hero by creating your character, but also by developing it.

And for this, several quests will need to be completed, and if you finish them, you can earn rewards that will make you stronger. Numerous classes are available, each with unique skills and fighting styles. In addition, there are several specializations, which allows you to vary your gameplay.

As a result, WonderKing seems attractive with its content and various features. Indeed, according to SteamDB, a peak of 306 players was observed during the last 24 hours, and 186 players are currently playing this game. However, the reviews on Steam are mostly negative.

There are several reasons that explain the disappointment of players who have been waiting for the return of this game since 2011. Many people complain about the text in the menus, which is difficult to read, and think that it looks too much like a mobile game.

Some resolution options are missing, which makes the game blurry. Finally, it seems that players who make purchases in the store have an advantage over others. Thus, it will be necessary to see if the developers will release updates in the coming days in order to solve these problems.
