Samsung Galaxy smartphones get exclusive Stranger Things theme and wallpapers

Samsung, in collaboration with Netflix, has announced an exclusive theme for Galaxy smartphones based on Netflix's hit TV series, Stranger Things. This is the second time both brands have partnered based on the TV series. The first was in 2022 when Samsung released a short film based on Stranger Things to highlight the Nightography features of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The Stranger Things theme is based on the recently released fifth and final season of the show. It also includes five wallpapers, which can be downloaded from the Galaxy Store for free, albeit for a limited time.

Samsung says users are required to download the Netflix app if they don't already have it. However, it is not clear if users need to have an active Netflix subscription to be able to download the theme and wallpapers.

According to Samsung, the theme and wallpapers feature live-action characters from the show, including Hawkins and the Upside Down. Users will be able to download the collection up until February 22. Samsung adds that the theme will be available for Galaxy smartphones running Android 15 or Android 16, while the wallpapers will be available for download on Galaxy smartphones running Android 8 or later.
