Samsung has started issuing new updates to the Galaxy Watch Active and Watch Active 2. The updates improve the stability of the smartwatches in vital areas and will be available through the Galaxy Wearable app. The new updates are approximately a 35 MB download.

Samsung has updated some more smartwatches, this time the Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Watch Active 2. Earlier this week, the company began upgrading the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Watch 3, as we have covered in a separate article. This month's updates for the Galaxy Watch Active pair are rather small, but they should improve the overall user experience on both smartwatches.

According to SamMobile, the build numbers to look out for are R820XXU1DUD1 in the case of the Galaxy Watch Active and R500XXU1FUD1 for the Galaxy Watch Active 2. Both updates are approximately a 35 MB download and supposedly address Wi-Fi connection and messaging app instabilities.

Currently, Samsung has distributed these updates to Galaxy Watch Active devices in Austria, Brazil, Germany and South Korea. You can download R820XXU1DUD1 and R500XXU1FUD1 through the Galaxy Wearable app, although your smartwatch must have at least 15% charge before the updates commence.
