HMD reintroduced the Nokia brand to the world with the Nokia 6 last year. The Nokia 6 marked the return of Nokia to the smartphone scene, a return that has gone almost better than anyone could have planned—the Finnish company gaining a sizeable portion of the market in the one year period since then. The company followed up the Nokia 6 with a direct successor this year, in the form of the Nokia 6 (2018). The Nokia 6 (2018) was launched in China back in January but is finally available in India.
The Nokia 6 (2018) sports a 5.5-inch FHD display, albeit in a traditional 16:9 mold. It is powered by a Snapdragon 630—a significant upgrade from the Snapdragon 430 on the first-gen Nokia 6. It features 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, a single 16 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, an 8 MP selfie shooter, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3000 mAh battery. It likely runs on Android Nougat out of the box, which we aren’t exactly fans of.
The Nokia 6 (2018) can be purchased at Nokia’s online shop, and comes with a price tag of INR 16,999 (US$260).
