The Lenovo LOQ 15 in Surge Green is an absolute eyecatcher

It feels as though almost all laptops come in either black, silver or gray. While some users may prefer a plain aesthetic, those who are more extroverted may want something more vibrant. Lenovo is targeting precisely this group of consumers with the Surge Green edition of its LOQ 15, which is sure to stand out in virtually any setting thanks to its vivid chassis colour.

Under the hood, however, the hardware is less spectacular. The GeForce RTX 5060 paired with a Ryzen 7 250 delivers solid performance, though the 8 GB of VRAM is likely to become a limitation in the long run. Nevertheless, the RTX 5060 still performs above average thanks to its relatively high TGP.

There is some room for improvement when it comes to sound quality, heat management and fan control. It’s also a shame that the built-in SSD throttles after extended use.
