The Phantom V Fold will probably be the headline act of Tecno's MWC 2023 show. The device is slated to launch as competition for high-end foldable smartphones such as the OPPO Find N2 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4. It is confirmed to have roughly the same form-factor and use-cases as the pre-existing flagship phablets.
Its latest leak may help underpin those claims. It allegedly consists of a new poster that teases the new Dimensity 9000+-powered foldable's design. The V Fold is purported to come in black, with what looks very like practically signature Phantom rear cameras.
Tecno has reportedly designed its own "reverse snap" hinge to reinforce the V Fold's durability. Besides that, the device is slated to be constructed of "aerospace-grade materials" in a bid to keep its mass down. The OEM may confirm or deny these tips, not to mention other details such as its main screen's size or quality, on February 28, 2023 in Barcelona.
