The TCL Tab A1 Plus launched in the US in April 2026. The budget Android tablet is currently available at a discounted price of $189.99 on Amazon. This represents a $90 discount from its current list price of $279.99. 

The tablet comes in a Space Blue color option. This is a Wi-Fi-only model that comes with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of storage.

Key specifications of the TCL Tab A1 Plus

The TCL Tab A1 Plus sports a 12.2-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,600 pixels. The display offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a typical brightness of 450 nits.

The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, a 4nm entry-level chipset that features two Cortex-A78 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. The device supports storage expansion of up to 2TB via a microSD card.

The Tab A1 Plus comes with an 8,000mAh battery and supports 20W wired charging. It has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Notably, the tablet has a metal unibody. It measures 6.7mm thick and weighs 542 grams.

The TCL Tab A1 Plus has a four-speaker setup but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. In terms of software, the tablet ships with Android 16. TCL promises an upgrade to Android 17 and three years of security updates.
